Coppermine Integration for Wordpress 2.3

Update : I don’t support this plugin anymore, but the person who supported it for a long time, then discontinued, decided to work again on new versions of Coppermine Integration for Wordpress.

Previous version here.I adapted the plugin for Wordpress 2.3, for which the previous (4.0) version is incompatible. No news from the old brand new plugin author, and as I need this plugin, here is the update.

À ce que je vois tu as également corriger l’erreur du fichier “slide_show2.js” qui est absent et remplacer par le coppermine.js. (Ce que j’avais finalement fait.)

Par contre, le plugins est encore vu comme la version 4.0 dans Wordpress. Mais, bon ce n’est qu’un détail.

Et au fait Wordpress 2.3, il n’est pas encore disponible, du moins pas avant le 24 septembre? La plus récente disponible étant la 2.2.3 qui elle ne causait pas de problème avec la version 4.0 du plugins. Tant mieux si ce plugins fonctionnera sur la prochaine version.

Oui, j’ai également corrigé l’appel au fichier javascript, je vais l’ajouter dans le changelog.

Et je vais aussi changer le numéro de version, merci pour ta remarque.

Wordpress 2.3 n’est effectivement pas encore disponible (il le sera demain), mais j’ai fait mes tests sur la version RC1. Ca ne devrait donc plus évoluer concernant les API et j’ai bon espoir que tout marche demain.

Hi,

Is there a way to:

1. Make pictures open in a blank window.

2. Make the pictures link to the gallery instead of the picture?

1. Before inserting an image into a post, select the image, then click on the menu “link” and select “popup” and then insert the image.

2. Same way but select “To gallery”.

Thanks a bunch for making this plugin work with WordPress 2.3, Ghusse! Since I’m working heavily with it, I was happy to find a working version.

I’m having a little problem though - I’m not sure if the problem was caused by your modification or the author before you, but now everytime I insert a coppermine album in a post (can be seen if you jump through to the full post on my blog), the images won’t get wrapped in an album div with the css class “cpg-grp-left”, but only with a div style=”float:left;”.

The “cpg-grp-left” is still mentioned in the coppermine.php, but it won’t wrap the album images inside the div. Hence, I can’t style the album like I used before…Could you have a look on it?

Hi! i have a problem with this plugin (and v4.0 too) then i use Popularity Contest plugin and coppermineDB not same wordpressDB. PopularityContest plugin search tables in coppermineDB and this get error. then i copy tables from WPDB to COPPERMINEDB no errors but data in tables are not writen.
temporarity resolution is this action

I was very happy finding this plugin! But it doesn’t work. I don’t see any picture inserting bar from cpg. When I used cpg 14.12, WP 2.2 and this plugin 3.something everything worked fine, now with cpg 14.13, WP 2.3 and this new version of the plugin, it even doesn’t show up. What did I forget/wrong? Offcourse the plugin is configured and activated:-)

Thank you for upgraden the plugin. There was a to-do list from the original maker which included a slideshow (besides thumbnail and image), to show a slideshow in the wordpress post. In the php-file I found some options, but I am not skilled enought to find out what to do to make it really work in wordpress. That’s the only thing I miss. I use NextGen to do it now, but I have to put my pictures in 2 different galleries (coppermine (as album tool and easy tool to put pictures from te gallery in the post) and NextGen (to show pictures as a slideshow in the post)). Would be so nice to do all of this with the coppermine plugin.

Hi I had a quick question, I have always had my coppermine tables in it’s own database even when I was using the stillgog version. And the pictures would show up fine on the posts whether I was logged in or not. But now the pictures don’t show if I am not logged in. They show up with the right link if I am logged in.

Do you think this has to with the fact that I am using 2 different databases for WP and CPG? Or is it something else?

I started off with the plugin from here and same problem so i tried the varied version from the lost in munich guy and I had same problem.

Do you have any suggestions?

One little question…
Where do you set the thumb_*.* filename that is used for getting th ethumbnails?
Because i’m using Stramm’s Modpack on my CPG, i also have Flickr like square thumbnails, that i would rather use instead.

Bonjour,
J’essaie d’intégrer le plugins Coppermine dans Wordpress.
le plugins semble fonctionner puisque je vois bien mes photos quand je veux faire un post.

Par contre, je voudrais savoir comment vous avez intégrer le lien “Galerie” pour l’afficher dans votre Blog ?

je n’ai toujours pas trouvé…..

ok ok… il n’y a donc pas de “réelle” intégration de la galerie dans le moteur de Wordpress si j’ai bien compris ?
c’est donc un thème de coppermine qui se calque sur celui de Wordpress ?

Il y a une intégration pour les posts, il est très facile d’ajouter une photo venue d’une galerie coppermine dans des billets du blog.
C’est plutôt ici que l’intégration s’effectue.
Quant-au thème, je l’ai modifié à la mimine du côté de coppermine pour qu’il colle.

Hi,

I found that somehow this plugin is conflicting with Pierre’s wordspew and if I turn the wordspew plugin off then the coppermine integration plugin displays the images properly.

Hmm.. do you know what could be causing the conflict?

Does the new WordPress 2.3.2 (released on 29-Dec-2007) break the database code used in this plugin??? I had problems after upgrading to 2.3.2. When I reverted back to 2.3.1, things worked again. Please let me know.

Nope, I’m not using this plugin anymore. But there is another person who is working on Coppermine integration for a long time. He released a new version of the plugin which is compatible with WP 2.5.
